Mission Shops play a significant role in reaching out to our community. Not only do the shops provide a diverse range of new and pre-loved merchandise at very affordable prices, they also provide opportunities for members of the community to volunteer, learn new skills and make new friends.

Mission Shops are actively involved in providing "retailing resources for community transformation". Apart from the products we sell, we also provide career entry opportunities for people in programs such as the "Work for the Dole" scheme. We partner with registered training organisations to offer qualifications in Certificate II in Volunteering. Thereby, our products, people and training all help to progress community transformation.

The funds raised through the sales of the merchandise is fed back into other services of City Mission such as Inside Out 4 Kids, youth mentoring and family support. Through donations of your pre-loved and re-usable belongings the Mission Shops provide clothing, books, furniture and other household items at affordable prices. The Mission Shops have also been offered a range of new items from wholesalers to help our clients and customers.

All new and donated products are available to the general public.
