Community & Family Support

Family Services, Chaplaincy Support, Morton's Place, City Kitchen, Community Outreach Trailer and Prison Bus Service all provide much needed support to communities and families of Northern Tasmania.

Youth Services

The Mish is City Mission’s hub for youth and young adult services. Through mentoring and unconventional learning experiences, The Mish supports young people aged 12-25 years to build confidence and develop important skills to sustain work, education and a healthy lifestyle.

Children's Change, Grief & Loss Support

A peer-support, harm prevention program that assists children in learning how to cope with change or loss in their life. This program runs in schools.

Crisis Accommodation

Orana House provides crisis and long-term accommodation for males aged 21 years and over. This facility also provides beds for Sobering Up and Place of Safety for males and females.

Drug & Alcohol Recovery

Serenity House is a Sobering Up and Place of Safety facility on the North West Coast. It is also a place for 'time-out' for people from any part of the state. Missiondale Therapeutic Community is a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility.

Mission Health is a drop in service operating each Thursday (except public holidays) between 9am – 12.30pm. To see a member of the health team, you can register on the day in Reception at City Mission, 48 Frederick St Launceston.
