Graphic Designer & Content Creator (Full-time/Part-time)

Outreach Worker Safe Space Launceston (Part-time 30.4 hours per week)

City Mission is seeking a qualified and experienced Outreach Worker to join the staff of Safe Space Launceston. Safe Space Launceston is a dedicated 24 hour/7 day per week facility for rough sleepers in Launceston offering a 16 -bed facility close to the Launceston CBD.

The role of the Outreach Worker will be to connect with individuals not currently accessing the service in an effort to provide a pathway to support services.

Casual Alcohol and Other Drug Support Worker – weekend work and sleepover shifts included

City Mission is seeking a caring and qualified individual to join the team at Serenity House in Burnie.

Serenity House is a residential rehabilitation service that supports individuals in overcoming the challenges of substance addiction. In a safe, supported environment, staff help people identify and build on their strengths, and ultimately find ways to live a happy and fulfilling life. We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring person to add to our team.

The role is for Casual Support Worker (on-call – inc. shift/weekday/weekend-work).

Please note – this role involves Alcohol and Other Drugs support, NOT disability support.

Casual Alcohol & Other Drug Support Worker – weekends, shift work and sleepover shifts included.

City Mission is seeking someone who is looking for an opportunity to support others who are pursuing help to manage their addiction. Experience working with people who are living with addiction is beneficial in the role, but if you are able to demonstrate care alongside good professional boundaries, we would encourage you to apply. Working as part of a team is critical in this role, as well as showing initiative and flexibility.

Missiondale provides a supportive environment for people engaging in long-term recovery in a Therapeutic Community setting. Missiondale is set on a peaceful 25 acres outside of Evandale and is funded for 34 beds, delivering a six-month program. The program includes individual and group therapy, skills development, case management and clinical support. Clients who enter Missiondale have completed their detox or withdrawal period elsewhere prior to admission.

Missiondale is staffed 24/7 including a sleepover shift, therefore this role requires availability across all shifts.
