City Mission Thanks Tim Holder and Welcomes Rolph Vos as Chair

On behalf of the Board we would like to share with you an important transition in leadership for our organisation, which has been prayerfully planned and managed over the past twelve months.

At the Annual General Meeting, the Board formally acknowledged the conclusion of Mr Tim Holder’s distinguished tenure as Chair of Launceston City Mission, a role he has held with integrity and vision since October 2014. Tim has served as Chair of City Mission with unwavering dedication for the past 11 years. With a strong focus on growth, strategy and performance and as a passionate advocate for the most vulnerable in our community, his legacy is not just in the buildings we’ve opened or the programs we’ve launched, it’s in the lives changed and the future made possible. Tim will continue to serve as a Director, ensuring continuity of wisdom and experience.

The Board is pleased to announce Mr Rolph Vos as incoming Chair, to take effect at the November Board meeting. Rolph brings a wealth of leadership and governance experience and a deep commitment to the Mission’s values and strategic direction. Rolph has worked in local government for over twenty five years, driven by the belief that it was a meaningful way to help shape the community he calls home. He has also been extensively involved with Launceston Christian School for many years, motivated by his strong belief that faith, family, and education are foundational pillars of strong connected communities.

The Board expresses its sincere gratitude to Mr Holder for his exemplary leadership and warmly welcomes Mr Vos to the role.
