Thank you, District Nurses! Connecting generations through food

As part of Seniors Week, The District Nurses joined our team at Morton’s Place lunch service, helping serve meals and support older Tasmanians during the cost-of-living crisis. They also donated food and funds to help our emergency relief efforts - a perfect example of community coming together.

With a combined 300 years of service in Tasmania, this partnership shows how long-standing organisations can come together to make a real difference in our community.

Beyond the meals, it was about smiles, conversations, and reminding older Tasmanians that they matter. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed — your effort and generosity made a real difference for people in need.
