Executive Assistant - Corporate Services

Part Time - 22.8 hours

Location: Launceston

City Mission is looking for a proactive Executive Assistant to support our CEO and GM Corporate Services of Launceston City Mission. You will coordinate meeting cycles for key governance bodies, e.g. our Board, prepare board packs and minutes, maintain relevant registers, help executives, support compliance, and assist with project governance for a significant capital program.

Case Worker Family Services

Part Time - 7 hours

Location: Burnie

City Mission is seeking a compassionate and caring individual to support those in need with emergency relief services.  Based in Burnie at the City Mission services Hub, the case worker will assess people’s need and support them through the range of options available

Family Services provides direct support to people experiencing episodes of crisis. This could look like people at risk of or experiencing homelessness, people struggling with their financial circumstances, people without secure access to food and other household items that is impacting their capacity to manage their current situation.

Support Worker - AOD

Part Time - 26 hours

Location: Evandale

We are looking for a compassionate and supportive Support Worker to join our Missiondale team. This is a part time role offering approximately 26 hours per week across a rotating roster, including weekends and overnight shifts.

Missiondale provides a supportive environment for people engaging in long-term recovery in a Therapeutic Community setting. Missiondale is set on a peaceful 25 acres outside of Evandale and is funded for 34 beds, delivering a six-month program. Clients who enter Missiondale have completed their detox or withdrawal period elsewhere prior to admission.

City Mission is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Retail Manager with initiative and leadership capabilities to support the Shop Manager in the management of paid and volunteer workers.

The position is required to assist in the management of the staff and operations of a Mission Retail Shop in the delivery of quality retail goods and service and requires the employee to develop positive working relationships with peers, management, the general public, stakeholders and other functional areas within the organisation.

Part Time - 15 hours & 20 hours (2 roles)

Location: Burnie

City Mission is seeking caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Program Facilitators to deliver our children’s programs across North-West Tasmania. 

This role involves delivering evidence-informed programs in primary schools and community settings, focusing on emotional literacy, wellbeing, and resilience. You will support children’s individual needs, build strong relationships with schools and community partners, and contribute to program promotion and continuous improvement.
