Support Worker Safe Space
Part Time (Multiple Roles)
Location: Launceston
Safe Space is City Mission’s welcoming place to sleep for people experiencing homelessness in Launceston. We provide a calm, safe and supportive 33‑bed facility close to the CBD, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
We are looking for passionate and people‑centred Support Workers to join our Safe Space team. This is a part time role offering approximately 26 hours per week across a rotating roster, including weekends and overnight shifts.

Attendant Container Deposit Scheme Depot
Full Time
Location: Somerset
City Mission has introduced the Recycle Rewards scheme In Launceston and the North-West area by establishing automated depot’s in Launceston and Somerset, each capable of processing 12,000 containers per hour.
The Attendant Container Deposit Scheme supports daily operations at the depot, ensuring efficiency, customer satisfaction, safety, and compliance with policies to enable the depot to achieve desired sustainability, community and budgetary targets.

Attendant Resale Shop & Transfer Station
Part Time
Location: Wynyard
City Mission is seeking a motivated and proactive individual with a passion for recycling, upcycling, and retail to support operations at the Wynyard Resale Shop and Transfer Station. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and the capacity to work in a diverse environment. This role also requires the successful applicant to have good computer literacy, money handling skills, and the physical ability to handle donations, including furniture and building materials. The opening & closing of the resale shop will be included as part of this role.
