Program Facilitator - Children’s Services

Part time (20 hours)

Launceston City Mission is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Program Facilitator to deliver our children’s programs across Northern Tasmania.

 This role involves delivering evidence-informed programs in primary schools and community settings, focusing on emotional literacy, wellbeing, and resilience. You will support children’s individual needs, build strong relationships with schools and community partners.

Support Worker AOD - Serenity House

Casual - On Call

City Mission is seeking compassionate support workers to join our team at Serenity House.

Serenity House is a Sobering Up and Place of Safety facility located in Burnie, North-West Tasmania. It is also a place for ‘time-out’, offering communal living under the support and supervision of trained staff. While staying at Serenity House, individuals have the opportunity to look at long term options for recovery and this may include a pathway to longer term residential rehabilitation services.

Position Description

Purchasing Officer

Part time (35 hours)

City Mission is looking for a motivated and highly organised Purchasing Officer to join our City Operations team.

The purchasing officer is required to manage the volunteer staff and operations. Including the ordering and arranging delivery of supplies for all City Mission operations along with oversight and co-ordination of donations to the site – both food and other items.
