Support Worker - Safe Space Launceston

Casual

City Mission is looking for casual support workers to join our Safe Space team. We provide a 24/7 service for people experiencing homelessness, offering a safe, welcoming 33-bed facility near the Launceston CBD.

This role includes supporting guests with compassion, respect, and practical help and does include overnight shifts. You’ll be part of a small, committed team working together to create a calm and caring environment.

Manager Warehouse

Full time

City Mission is looking for a dynamic Warehouse Manager to support the Leadership of Supply Chain in the effective operations of the Warehouse and supply of goods to the Launceston City Mission’s retail and resale networks of North and Northwest Tasmania. The position is located at our Youngtown site and requires the employee to develop working relationships with management, peers, and paid and volunteer workers within the organisation.

Key Development Coach - Safe Space Launceston

Part time (30 hours)

City Mission is looking for a caring and motivated Key Development Coach to join our Safe Space team.

The Key Development Coach will work within the Housing Connect System to provide housing coaching, case coordination, and case management to individuals staying at Safe Space Launceston. As the dedicated housing specialist in this service will proactively support clients experiencing homelessness through referrals and follow up.

Purchasing Officer

Part time (35 hours)

City Mission is looking for a motivated and highly organised Purchasing Officer to join our City Operations team.

The purchasing officer is required to manage the volunteer staff and operations. Including the ordering and arranging delivery of supplies for all City Mission operations along with oversight and co-ordination of donations to the site – both food and other items.
