Stallholder Information

Thank you for joining us for Second Glance, proudly organised by City Mission and supported by Burnie City Council.

To register as a stallholder, please read the information below, before using the booking form to secure your spot.

Stall Fees

  • $10 per stall (payment is required to secure your booking). 

  • Please note this fee is non-refundable if you cancel.

  • Stall allocations are first in, first served. We currently have a waiting list, so if you commit, we kindly ask that you honour your booking. If something changes and you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your space to someone else. The bigger our market, the better it will be for everyone!

Stall Spaces

  • Each stall space is approximately 2.5 m x 2.5 m.

  • Please bring your own clothing racks, table and chair if required. Chairs will not be available from Burnie Arts for stall holders.

  • Please note that the Civic Plaza surface is not completely level. We strongly recommend bringing your own chocks or wedges to stabilise clothing racks and displays.

  • Please Note: marquees and tents are not permitted.

Set Up/Pack Down

  • Bump in begins from 10:30am.

  • Please ensure your stall is completely set up by 11:45 am so we are ready to welcome shoppers at 12:00pm.

  • Pack down of stalls is required by 5:00pm.

Selling Tips

  • Clearly display prices on your racks or individually price your items.

  • Bring a cash float if accepting cash. We suggest:

    • 10 × $1 coins

    • 10 × $2 coins

    • 4 × $5 notes

    • 5 × $10 notes

    • (approximately $100 total)

  • You are also welcome to accept payments via Square, PayID or other electronic payment methods.

We would love your help promoting the market. Please start sharing the event on your Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as any local community noticeboard pages you belong to. The more people we attract, the more customers through the gates, and the more money we hope you’ll make!
