Other Donations

Recycle your unwanted and reusable goods by donating to be given to a client in need or become stock for our Mission Shops or other social enterprise. All profit made through our shops is redirected into maintaining and growing our client services across Northern Tasmania.

Donations can be dropped off at any of the locations below.

If you have something to donate but are unable to get it to us, please call (03) 6343 2115 (Launceston area) or (03) 6431 9930 (North West Coast) to arrange a collection time. 

Our donation collection service is in demand, please call and arrange a collection up to 10 days in advance to avoid any disappointment.

Donation Bins

There are several donation bins in various locations; Frederick Street outside City Mission's Chapel (46 Frederick Street), outside the Tailrace Centre in Riverside and outside Burnie Mission Shop (2 Alexander Street)

During business hours, please direct your donations to our drop-off bay at 48 Frederick Street or Burnie Warehouse (behind shop).

Warehouses

The warehouse located behind Youngtown Mission Shop (351 Hobart Road) sorts all donations before distributing across Northern Tasmania.

The warehouse located behind Burnie Mission Shop (2 Alexander Street) sorts all donations before distributing across Northern Tasmania.

Uptipity & Burnie Resale Shop

Donations can be made to Uptipity (Launceston) via the Recycling Depot at the Launceston Waste Transfer Station (Calvary Road, Mowbray). Donations can also be made to Burnie Resale Shop directly to the shop (289 Mooreville Road, Mooreville)

All donations stay in Northern Tasmania to produce revenue to assist client services operating in your local community and across Northern Tasmania.
