This year City Mission’s Emergency Relief Service will be visited by hundreds of local families asking for help.
With more than 84,000 Tasmanian households struggling to put a meal on the table, there are many families who won’t enjoy a Christmas dinner, and countless children who won’t have a gift to open.
That’s why we are asking you to Give the Gift of Hope and help transform lives in your local community this Christmas. Your support will mean the world to local families experiencing financial hardship this year. Your donation whether big or small will help light up Christmas morning for a child.
City Mission is a truly local charity, supporting communities in North and North West Tasmania. Donations $2 and over are tax deductible.
With the soaring cost of living, more people are needing assistance. We are seeing a very different demographic of clients; those employed on a low-income or part-time, for example. I’m sure you will agree that no child should wake up on Christmas morning to an empty tree and table.
However, with your consideration, generosity and prayers, we can and do bring help, hope and healing to those facing the most difficult circumstances in our community.
Please, if you are able, give today. Give the Gift of Hope.
Please donate.
