City Mission is once again partnering with the ABC Giving tree as one of the beneficiary charities.
The ABC Giving Tree Appeal is celebrating over 30 years of generosity from the community. This year the Giving Tree has a focus on online giving, following what has been a difficult year for many. Together, we can help by raising donations for Tasmanians most in need over the holiday season. Can you help us reach our target of $100 000?

Proceeds from the Giving Tree Appeal are distributed between Launceston Benevolent Society, Launceston City Mission, St Vincent de Paul Society, The Salvation Army, Uniting Tasmania, Hobart City Mission, Mission Australia, Anglicare and Colony 47.
Charities will use the funds raised to purchase toys, gifts and food hampers for Tasmanian individuals and families requiring financial support over the holiday season. These cash donations will also allow charities to tailor what they purchase for each of their clients, including providing gift cards for parents to pick out something special for their children.
Since its establishment in 1988, the Giving Tree Appeal has become a tradition amongst families and communities alike. With up to $100,000 raised each year, we are urging people to continue to generously donate to this long-standing Tasmanian charity.
As a registered charity, all donations over $2 are tax deductible. Donate now to help your fellow Tasmanians in need this Christmas and give joy this holiday season.
While previously physical gift donations have been a big part of the Giving Tree Appeal, this year the Giving Tree has an online focus so that we can continue to help Tasmanians in need, while keeping everyone safe. Instead of leaving a gift, those who are able to can make a donation of their choice online.
