Volunteer
For over 150 years the City Mission has assisted people in need….from feeding the hungry to helping people come to terms with life-controlling addictions. Throughout this time it has been through the thoughtful support of thousands of volunteers who saw the need and responded by generously giving their time, skills and compassion with others in making a positive difference in our community.
The City Mission currently operates with the help of around 400 volunteers working in many different areas alongside a small and dedicated supervising team
As a City Mission volunteer you will enjoy the knowledge that your efforts are helping to make someone’s life a little more comfortable.
The City Mission is a Christian organisation and, as a result, at all times endeavors to show the love of God through realising its philosophy of “Caring and Sharing in Jesus’ Name.”
