Crisis Accomodation

The City Mission has always sought to be pro-active in providing for the needs of the homeless. Over the past few years a range of accommodation options has been expanded to include:

Crisis Unit and Sobering-Up Facility

A 6 bed facility providing 24 hours crisis accommodation for homelss males over the age of 21. Incorporates 2 beds, which can be used for the sobering-up of males or females. Operates 7 days a week. Counselling is provided through case management.

Short Term Units

Provides 6 bedsits for single males over the age of 21. Units are located next to the crisis and sobering-up facility. Support is provided through case management. Accessed through Crisis Unit.

Community Housing

6 fully furnished one-bedroom units available within the community. Units are available for single males over the age of 21 years. Support is provided through case management. Accessed through Crisis Unit.

Orana Boarding House

Provides furnished, single room supported accommodation for single males and females who may be experiencing difficulty in coping with living independently due to emotional or social issues. Can take up to 12 residents.
