The City Mission is a “Character First” organisation believing that who a person is, is more important than what a person can do. Motivating people to be the unique individual that God made them to be unites us and fosters personal fulfilment. This results in a pleasant, uplifting and motivating work environment.
The Character First program focusses on emphasising, requiring and recognising good character in the workplace. It is good character that motivates us to do what is right, whatever the situation or circumstance. Our success is not only driven by ethical and wise leadership but by having the right people in the right jobs. We aim to attract and retain people of good character who demonstrate integrity both at the workplace and in their personal lives.
